The Kyoto Distillery is Japan’s first dedicated gin distillery, inspired by Kyoto’s history and craftsmanship, reflecting the vision of our founders to create one of the world’s best gins.
We are obsessive about the quality of our ingredients, sourcing locally-grown botanicals and selecting an exquisite and flavoursome rice spirit.
Our 11 botanicals are grouped by flavour into what we call the 6 Elements, which are macerated and distilled separately, before blending together with Fushimi water in a process we refer to as konwa.
We respect tradition, whilst looking to innovate and collaborate with Kyoto’s cultural and agricultural communities.
The Kyoto Distillery has been named International Gin Producer of the Year 2018 (IWSC) and KI NO BI was awarded the Contemporary Gin Trophy 2018 (IWSC).
