Yes, Not exactly a sake.. (we apologize!) But this is a very very good sake-based umeshu! Unlike a popular brand, this umeshu is tart, bright and refreshing. In no way does it have that over-cloying sweetness that is normally associated with umeshu.
Made with sake from the Shinshuumeijyou brewery that brings us Kikuzakari sake, and infused with Shirakaga plum this makes a great digestif to end the meal. Alternatively, you can add soda to it for a refreshing afternoon cocktail.
