From the Juhachizakari Shuzo in Okyama, Japan, and available in Singapore for the first time, the Takaji Junmai Daiginjo Asahi is a great sake to start any evening (or day!)
This sake is a jikagumi, muroka nama genshu; it's filled directly into the bottle from the tank, undiluted, unpasteurised and undiluted. This results in a unique flavour that is not commonly found in other sakes, look out for the tiny effervescence too for an ever so slightly bubbly mouthfeel.
Beautiful aroma, fruity nose, bold flavour with an off-dry finish. Smooth and well balanced.
